(Please see the note at the bottom which expands why our 5th Annual Donation was less than previous years yet we had a similar amount of participants.)

All finances (expenses/revenue) will be explicitly updated in this  file. For any questions on any component please send an e-mail to franklinhoops@yahoo.com.   Following each tournament the Jimmy Fund forwards us a letter verifying our donation amount and this is  forwarded to all participants (parents) and volunteers. Any previous letter is on file should you wish to retain a copy.

 (a)  Horace Mann & Oak St for the day (7:15AM-6:30PM) was $960. 

(b)  For the 5th Annual Tourney a pair of Sox Playoff Tickets were purchased (at face value) to help encourage early registration to assist w/organization. (These were drawn by lottery and won by the O'Reilly family...2 tix to Game 3 vs the Angels in October) ($70)

(c)  Pisano Design (Union St Franklin) is our vendor for shirts.   These shirts are $6 each which includes the front/back screens.)  (We will need one for each player , one for each Student Volunteer and the remainder will be given as thanks to our Corporate Basket & Shirt Sponsors.)  For the 5th Annual we have ordered 180 player shirts, 40 volunteer shirts, and 40 shirts for our sponsors. (total 260 shirts...$1560)
            
(d)      First Aid Kits, Ice Packs & Flip Scoreboards were all purchased for the 3rd Annual Tournament as a one-time expense. This year we needed to purchase more whistles/lanyards and also purchased 8 junior sized 27.0 balls and a pump for the 1/2B & 1/2/3G Clinic. These balls will be used for future tourneys as well. (Tri-Valley Sports - Medway $180)
              


(e)  We have Certificates provided by the Jimmy Fund for the Division Team Winners as well as the individual Hotshot, 3-Point, and Foul Shot Champions in each Division.  We purchase 30 trophies for  the 3 on 3 Champions at each level (20 boys & 8 girls....1 extra of each)....$150 www.aaatrophies.com

Donation Note:

The 5th Annual Tourney was moved from Jan 2010 to November 2009.  This meant our tournament was played twice in 2009 (Jan 09 & Nov 09).   It was our decision not to solicit local sponsorships twice in the same year. Instead, we used this opportunity to thank all business sponsors from the first four years by placing all 25 sponsors on the back of the 5th Annual Shirts.  (We also are giving every sponsor a shirt in thanks.) For the 6th Annual Tourney (11/11/10) we will return to the our normal process of asking local (and other) business sponsors consider a Jimmy Fund Donation on behalf of our tourney.
